Software Engineer - internal tools (Atlanta, GA)

Bright Ivory Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
