Software Engineer - internal tools (Atlanta, GA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Bridge Telecom and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about service installations into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
