Software Engineer - internal tools (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Juniper Health and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Turn requests about electronic records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with electronic records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
