Software Engineer - internal tools (Anchorage, AK)

Bright Quill Health Group is a healthcare provider in Anchorage with clinics and support teams, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
