Software Engineer - internal tools (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Cedar Summit Early Learning Associates and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Turn requests about licensing records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
