Software Engineer - integrations (Wichita, KS)

Silverline Rowan Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
