Software Engineer - integrations (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Lantern Learning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 252 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about attendance records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
