Software Engineer - integrations (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Lumen Bridge Facilities and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
