Software Engineer - integrations (Tucson, AZ)

Cedar Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Tucson, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
