Software Engineer - integrations (St. Louis, MO)

Bright Cross Facilities is a facilities company in St. Louis with crews on day and night shifts, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
