Software Engineer - integrations (Spokane, WA)

Westbrook Fern Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Spokane focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
