Software Engineer - integrations (Spokane, WA)

Ironwood Meadow Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Spokane, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 415 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
