Software Engineer - integrations (Spokane, WA)

Cedar Hollow Energy is an energy provider in Spokane focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about service connections into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
