Software Engineer - integrations (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Summit Hollow Transit Planning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 718 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about route schedules into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
