Software Engineer - integrations (Savannah, GA)

Rivermark Lakeside Telecom is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about field visits into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
