Software Engineer - integrations (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Quill Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around San Jose. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
