Software Engineer - integrations (San Diego, CA)

Harborlight Bridge Telecom is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about outage reports into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
