Software Engineer - integrations (San Antonio, TX)

Summit Pharma develops and makes medicines in San Antonio. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about clinical studies into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with clinical studies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
