Software Engineer - integrations (Salt Lake City, UT)

Westbrook Thistle Insurance Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 272 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about customer complaints into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
