Software Engineer - integrations (Salt Lake City, UT)

Ironwood Thistle Insurance is an insurance company in Salt Lake City with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about policy renewals into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
