Software Engineer - integrations (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Maple Financial and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about loan applications into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with loan applications. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
