Software Engineer - integrations (Richmond, VA)

Clearpath North Insurance Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about policy renewals into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
