Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Fernwood Harbor Care Services Partners is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Raleigh, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about client records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
