Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Fernwood Drift Facilities is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for work orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about work orders into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • We reply to every applicant.
