Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Keystone Energy and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
