Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Amberfield Iron Insurance is an insurance company in Colorado Springs with claims and service teams, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about underwriting files into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
