Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Cedar Umber Facilities is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for cleaning schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 385 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about cleaning schedules into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with cleaning schedules. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
