Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Highbridge Wren Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Las Vegas region. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Turn requests about usage data into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Las Vegas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
