Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Harbor Transit Planning and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about route schedules into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
