Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Greenridge Sparrow Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Toledo focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 796 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about outage reports into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
