Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Ironwood Granite Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Savannah, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about capital projects into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
