Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Summit Cedar Facilities Group looks after properties across the Madison region, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 232 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
