Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Haven Water Authority and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 619 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
