Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Amberfield Sable Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Minneapolis and nearby communities. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would join a large organisation of about 281 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about meter reading into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
