Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Ironwood Sable Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Houston. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about classroom supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
