Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Northwind Ivory Inspection Services is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about test reports into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
