Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Kestrel Community Partners and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
