Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Rivermark Rowan Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Louisville area. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
