Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Harborlight Quill Facilities is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about contractor visits into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
