Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning Group and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about fare systems into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
