Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Greenridge Wilder Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Cincinnati. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about customer complaints into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • We reply to every applicant.
