Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Bright Loom Community Partners runs community programmes across Reno, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
