Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Nova Maple Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Spokane, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about classroom supplies into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
