Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Bright Keystone Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Louisville area, and we need a Software Engineer to lead our integrations. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
