Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Redstone Fern Energy is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about hardship programmes into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
