Software Engineer - integrations (remote)

Harborlight Rowan Health Group is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about insurance authorisations into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with insurance authorisations. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
