Software Engineer - integrations (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Pike Water Authority and adding a Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about pipe repairs into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
