Software Engineer - integrations (Raleigh, NC)

Redstone Summit Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Raleigh area. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about school calendars into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
