Software Engineer - integrations (Providence, RI)

Amberfield Junction Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Providence. We are hiring a Software Engineer to take on integrations. You would join a small organisation of about 193 people based in Providence. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
