Software Engineer - integrations (Providence, RI)

Ironwood Meadow Community Partners is looking for a Software Engineer. The job centres on integrations for client intake, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about client intake into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
